20’ x 8’ Dock Boat

Nichols Diversified Industries completed a 20’ x 8’ Monohull Dock Boat for ConocoPhillips . This customer designed aluminum boat features a low profile design to allow for operation under a pier for oil spill boom maintenance. Other features of the vessel include both port and starboard side doors, a removable tow bit with line guard and a ‘piling hugger’ bow roller to allow the operator to hold the bow on a piling. The custom built aluminum boat is powered by a 135 HP Honda, 4 stroke outboard engine and carries 45 gallons of fuel. A Raymarine electronics package complements the Honda gauge package. ConocoPhillips selected Nichols Diversified Industries (NDI) to build this vessel based on NDI’s ability to quickly design and deliver a custom constructed vessel. This vessel is the first of two vessels contracted by ConocoPhillips for custom construction.
