Feb. 2009 - Nichols Diversified Industries has started construction on a 32' x 11'-6 Recreational Catamaran. This aluminum catamaran landing craft will be powered by 2 Volvo-Penta D6-370 diesel engines with Duo-prop DPH stern drives. The propulsion system will be EPA Tier II Compliant.
Dec 2008 - Nichols Diversified Industries has completed successful sea trials and prepares for final delivery of “Panchita”, a 45’ x 15’ aluminum Pilot Boat, for an international conglomerate based in Mexico City, Mexico. She is powered by a pair of Volvo-Penta D9-425 engines with Twin Disc 5082A 2:1 marine gears and turns 32” x 28” 5 blade NiBral props. Fuel capacity is 400 gallons. Free run speed was recorded at ___ kts via GPS.
